Three Months

Abbie is three months as of November 17! We had some trouble getting these pictures up on the blog- our internet does not seem to cooperate these days. These pics are from Abbie's first visit with her great gran, first Halloween, first laughs and some other fun stuff. Enjoy!

Two Months!

Abbie is 2 months and 12.2 pounds- getting pretty big! Here are some pictures of our trip to Notre Dame (with Mike, Kathleen, Gogo and Grandpa Q, Jay, Todd, Jody, Jeanine, Matt, Els, Karla, Massimo, Cindy, B and Margot). And also some shots of visitors to Dayton, including the Saxen clan for the Saxen Open (with Nana, Julie, Kelle, Maggie, and Allie) and B and Margot. Plus a couple shots of Abbie with dad rooting on the Indians and playing poker. A lot of the photos show Abbie wrapped up in a red carrier- we call it the 'magic red sling' because it puts her to sleep so easily- and she loves to stay happily sleeping in there for hours. We are also so blessed to have my mom here to help out this month... and maybe into the future. Enjoy!

First Month

Abbie is one month old! These pictures are in reverse order, starting with most recent (she weighs 10 lbs 2oz now!). There are a lot of sleeping photos- she mostly loves to sleep in people's arms; she's not a fan of being alone ever. The last picture of her sleeping in her crib is pretty funny to me, because I don't think she's ever slept in there longer than 5 minutes. You can see she got geared up (thanks to the Mitchells) for the past few ND games, but it didn't help the Irish unfortunately. I threw in a photo of our new house because a lot of folks asked to see that. And also a lot of people have asked about her name...we chose Abigail because it means a Father's joy and that is so true for Rick...and Vera is Abbie's great grandmother's name- when we had a big scare early in the pregnancy, Grandma Sprinkle (Vera) assured us everything would be okay- she said she knew it would be fine; and she prayed for Abbie every day to make sure of it. We want Abbie to remember this gift and this wonderful great gran of hers. Hopefully, we'll get the two Veras together next month.

Lots of love, Rick, Col and Abbie
